We recently completely transformed this regular backyard in Burleigh Waters (Gold Coast) into a well-designed, stylish outdoor living area.
We started by building a hardwood deck that runs from the back door, right up to the pool and all the way along the entire length of the house.
This created a real extension of the overall living area – from inside of the house, right out to the poolside.
We then built an insulated patio to cover the entire deck area and equipped it with integrated LED down lights+ a giant outdoor ceiling fan. We used 140mm hardwood timber posts for the patio which compliments the overall design of the house. We pride ourselves on building and finishing projects so they don’t look like an afterthought.
A small outdoor kitchen comprising of an in-built BBQ, taps/sink, integrated bar fridge and a rendered polished bench top was also added – making the space even more versatile.
To finish the project perfectly, we also built matching decking and stairs at the entrance of the home. Integrated LED deck lighting illuminate the entrance at night.
